Greeting from icy cold Minneapolis, Minnesota. We now know what this "Polar Vortex" is all about with temperatures and wind chills below 0.
A Golden Weekend:
Harvard Tennis will face off today against the Golden Gophers of Minnesota at 3pm. Minnesota is a top 40 team with lots of veteran experience. You can follow the match on a live video feed or check the live scoring option. Here is the link:
On Sunday, we will play against #34 ranked Tulsa Golden Hurricanes of Tulsa at noon, hosted by the Gophers.
Kick-Off Results:
It was a tough weekend in Starkville as the Crimson were edged by #9 Mississippi State 4-3 and in an equally close match we fell to top #17 South Carolina. The tennis quality was extremely high and it is clear we are one step away from competing with the best in the country. It was a great litmus test of improvements and of our team's character.
