Harvard Men's Tennis at Yale for Northeast Regional Chps...live streaming!

A huge treat for everyone who can't attend in person!  Matches will be streamed live on: www.streamingtennis.com.  You'll be able to view any of the 8 indoor courts at any time.

I've attached the draws and match schedules for today, so you know when to look for specific matches.

The new ITA scoring format will be used for singles and doubles:
Short Ad game scoring (like No Ad, but with one extra chance to "deuce" the game before the Sudden Death point (second Ad is called Super Deuce to make it easier to remember).

Sets will play a tiebreak at 5-5 instead of 6-6.

It's a fun format that keeps some of the traditional tension of deuce/ad, but which still lends finality to games.  Similarly, when 10 games have been played in a set (which signals the end of a traditional 6-4 set, the TB is used.

This format will be used for the first 5-6 weeks of the Spring season against non-comference opponents, in an effort to keep dual matches closer to a three-hour window of time.

Two Harvard players, Andrew Ball and Kelvin Lam, have already advanced into the main draw through the qualifying draw.  Both won two matches yesterday. They now join Harvard players Shaun Chaudhuri, Nicky Hu, Denis Nguyen, Alex Steinroeder, and freshmen Sebastian Beltrame and Brian Yeung.
